A referral program for therapists working with clients on a hard decision.
Counsel.day is a private decision tool for the questions a single conversation cannot settle. When a client of yours is circling one of those questions, referring them to Counsel.day gives them a structured way to capture what they (and their partner, if there is one) actually think across the days between sessions, before the next session begins. In return, we pay you 20% of their referral spend each quarter, for as long as their account remains active, and we send you a quarterly summary report on the work referred clients did with the tool.
Counsel.day is a data tool, not a therapeutic intervention. The product is not validated, built, tested, or endorsed by clinicians; the founder, James Graham, is a data professional, not a therapist. The referral program is a sales-channel relationship; it is not a clinical partnership and does not imply clinical endorsement in either direction.
How a Counsel.day referral works.
When you join the program, we issue you a personal referral link. Your client signs up through the link; the link binds the new account to your referral code for the lifetime of the account. We do not share your client's identity with you, and we never share your name or contact with your client; the binding is internal to our billing system.
From the day the account is paid, every quarter for as long as the account remains active, we pay you 20% of the gross subscription spend from that account. Payouts are made in USD by bank transfer or Stripe; the threshold is $50.00 USD per quarter; balances below the threshold carry forward to the next quarter.
The referral share and the quarterly summary report.
Two things, every quarter.
The first is the referral share. Twenty per cent of every paid month from every account you referred, paid in arrears, in USD. Solo Plus, Couple, and Family editions are all included. The free Solo tier is excluded because there is no spend to share.
The second is the quarterly summary report. A short PDF that gives you an anonymous, aggregate read on what your referred clients did with the tool: how many decisions they opened, average duration, distribution across decision classes (family, home, career, partnership), and aggregate completion rate. The report does not name individual clients or quote from anyone's notes; it is built from non-identifying counts.
The plan for therapists using Counsel.day in their own practice.
Separate from referral, the Practitioner Annual is the all-access plan for therapists who use Counsel.day with their own clients · running a decision alongside or between sessions, looking at the verdict together in the room, or asking a client to run a Solo decision as homework on a question they have not yet brought to their partner.
Practitioner Annual · $399 USD per year, charged upfront. While active:
- Unlimited client decisions of any consumer type (Solo, Couple, Family) on the practitioner account
- Each decision still binds to the client's own email; you don't see their notes, votes, or verdict
- A practitioner-only dashboard counts active and concluded decisions, with no content leakage
- A "founding practitioner" held price is honoured for the first cohort of joiners · once joined, your renewal price never increases
- Seven-day refund window from the date the annual is charged
The Practitioner Annual is sold only here and on the counsellor program page; it is not shown on the consumer pricing page. Apply via therapists@counsel.day · include your practice name and registration body and we will issue an invite link.
A data tool that arrives before the conversation.
Counsel.day is built for the specific class of decision that has been circling for weeks or months without resolution, where a single conversation has repeatedly failed to settle it, and where each partner's feelings shift across days and weeks in ways neither of them can hold onto. Four classes of question come up most often: family and reproduction, home and place, career, and the partnership itself.
The product is not a substitute for couples therapy, individual therapy, or any form of clinical care. It does not deliver an intervention, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan. What it delivers is a structured longitudinal capture of two people's positions on one question, with an analysis on the final day that surfaces the trajectory, the themes, and the underlying axis of disagreement. That capture is the data a therapist can bring into a session; the session is still the session.
What Counsel.day will not claim.
To keep the relationship clean for both sides, the program is bound by the following commitments.
Counsel.day will not claim clinical validity, therapeutic outcome, or evidence-based status that we cannot demonstrate. We will not market the tool with language that suggests it diagnoses, treats, or cures any condition. We will not characterise it as a substitute for therapy.
Counsel.day will not ask you to make clinical claims on its behalf, and we will not use your professional credentials or name in our marketing without your signed written consent.
Counsel.day will not retain your personal data beyond what is needed to administer the referral program; the data we hold on you is your name, your contact email, and your payout details. You can delete it at any time.
How to apply to the referral program.
Write to therapists@counsel.day with a short note about your practice (your country, your registration body, your client focus) and your preferred payout method. We reply within one business day. If the fit looks right, we send you a one-page program agreement; once signed, your referral link is issued and the share starts on the next billing cycle for any client who signs up.
There is no fee to join and no minimum referral commitment. You can leave the program at any time; we honour outstanding payouts for any active accounts you referred.
